Obama II: his impressive accomplishments so far…as of JULY, 2015
1. First President to be
photographed smoking a joint.
2. First President to apply
for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
3. First President to have
a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
4. First President to
preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States .
5. First President to
violate the War Powers Act.
6. First President to be
held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of
Mexico .
7. First President to
require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
8. First President to spend
a trillion dollars on "shovel-ready" jobs when there was no such
thing as "shovel-ready" jobs.
9. First President to
abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union
supporters.
10. First President to
by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.
11. First President to
order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal
immigrants across the U.S. , including those with criminal convictions.
12. First President to
demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.
13. First President to tell
a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.
14. First President to
terminate America's ability to put a man in space.
15. First President to
cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a
Christian nation and then have a Muslim prayer day at the Whitehouse.

a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
17. First President to
arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
18. First President to
threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for
their rate increases.
19. First President to tell
a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.
20. First President to file
lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
21. First President to
withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
22. First President to
actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).
23. First President to fire
an inspector general of AmeriCorps for catching one of his friends in a
corruption case.
24. First President to
appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.
25. First President to
surround himself with radical left wing Muslim anarchists.
26. First President to golf
more than 150 separate times in his five years in office.
27. First President to hide
his birth, medical, educational and travel records.
28. First President to win
a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
29. First President to go
on multiple "global apology tours" and concurrent "insult our
friends" tours.
30. First President to go
on over 17 lavish vacations, in addition to date nights and Wednesday evening
White House parties for his friends paid for by the taxpayers.
31. First President to have
personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
32. First President to keep
a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
33. First President to fly
in a personal trainer from Chicago at least once a week at taxpayer expense.
34. First President to
repeat the Quran and tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call
to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.
35. First President to side
with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states ( Mexico vs. Arizona
).
36. First President to tell
the military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance
because they "volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences."
37. Then he was the First
President to tell the members of the military that THEY were UNPATRIOTIC for
balking at the last suggestion.
38. First Imperial
President.
39. First President to
govern in the spirit of taqiya.
40. First President to
attempt to willfully and systematically exclude orthodox Christianity from the
public square.
Tighten your seatbelts
there is still time for many additions to this list of assaults on life,
liberty and the pursuit of happiness in America today. If this list seems
subjective to you, that shouldn’t be a surprise—the essence of progressive
liberalism is feelings, not objective truth.

ave you ever come across the word taqiya? I had never seen it until it popped up in an article
“Sucker-Punch Politics” by Kevin D. Williamson in the July 20 national review.
I Googled the word and here is how Wikipedia explains it:
“In Shi'a
Islam, taqiya (تقیة taqiyyah/taqīyah) is a form of
religious lie, or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith
or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts, specially while they are in
fear or at risk of significant persecution. A similar concept in Sunni
Islam is known as
idtirar (إضطرار)
"coercion". A related concept is known as kitman "concealment; dissimulation by
omission". Also related is the concept of ḥiyal, legalistic deception practiced not
necessarily in a religious context but to gain political or legalistic
advantage.
This practice was emphasized in Shi'a Islam whereby adherents
may conceal their religion when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion. Taqiyya was developed to protect Shi'ites who
were usually in minority and under pressure, and Shi'a Muslims as the
persecuted minority have taken recourse to dissimulation from the time of the mihna (persecution) under Al-Ma'mun in the 9th century, while the
politically dominant Sunnites rarely found it necessary to resort to dissimulation.
In Sunni jurisprudence, denying faith under duress or other permissible reasons as
per Islamic law is viewed "only at most permitted and not under all
circumstances obligatory”. However, there are many examples of practicing
taqiyya among Sunnis where it was necessary.
In the Shi'a view, taqiyya is lawful in situations where there
is overwhelming danger of loss of life or property and where no danger to
religion would occur thereby. Taqiyya has also been legitimised, particularly
among Twelver Shia, in order to maintain Muslim unity and fraternity.”
Is hard to read this, especially the first paragraph without
seeing many similarities to recent progressive political thinking and acting,
particularly since the dawn the of Obama Administration. Let me add some
context to this.
This kind of political behavior goes back at least to Roe v.
Wade in 1972. Up until the recent same sex marriage decree, Roe was the worst
decision in living memory, a pure political act without any constitutional
basis. The relativistic liberal mindset that generated the case demonstrated Taqiya
when the truth came out, the whole thing was based on a lie to begin with, and
its apologists argued that it didn’t matter, since the lie was in a “good
cause.”
A more current example can be seen in the Senate confirmation
hearings in 2009 on Elena Kagan affirmed, in writing and in person to the
Senators that “There is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.”
When Oberfell was decided, declaring just the opposite, Kagan
voted with the majority in a 180 degree flip flop. This was pure Taqiya…but
worse…when a Muslim lies or deceives, it is to please or obey Allah. When the
good Jewish lady lied and deceived she not only offended the one true God but
pleased the god of this world.
If you need another example, consider Obamacare as a case
history of lies, deceptions, concealments, coercions, and dissimulations by
omission.
Finally, we come to the grandest irony of all—The Iran Nuclear
Negotiations. Here we have the Ayatollah and his merry band of Mad Mullahs on
one side of the table who are fully authorized by Allah to do or say whatever
it takes to get an agreement and win the battle with the infidels. Across the
table are the representatives of the “Great Satan” (‘Death to America and
Israel’) charged by their Imperial Leader to do whatever it takes to get a
“legacy” agreement that he can brag about in his retirement.
The only ethical or moral difference from one side of the
table to the other is that the Muslims are lying to the infidels and the
infidels lying to the American people. So you may never have heard the word
Taqiya before but we all are immersed in it like fish in water.
Let me summarize with a brief quote from Kevin Williamson:
“The Islamic term taqiya (is) generally understood as a
principle of self-preservation permitting Muslims to deceive infidels when the
numbers are against them without incurring divine penalties for dishonesty…Raymond
Ibrahim, a scholar of Islam, puts it in psychological terms: ‘Anyone who truly
believes that no less an authority than God justifies, and, through his
prophet’s example, sometimes even encourages deception will not experience any
ethical qualms or dilemmas about lying….deception becomes second nature.
“….deception becomes second nature”—we come
the full circle back to relativistic progressive liberal ideology and politics.
