The April 20,
2015 National
Review reports the firing of BBC’s host of the wildly popular
automotive show, Top Gear and its fans
are not happy. In less than two weeks a petition was developed with over a
million signatures, imploring the BBC to reinstate Jeremy Clarkson.
Clarkson had
been a shining light in the dreary gloom of politically correct Great Briton.
He was sharp, profane, irreverent, and no one escaped his barbs. He was a
“bastion of light in a dark PC world.“
No one
escaped his wit. Not German Cars, which he suggested are capable of traveling
from “Berlin to Warsaw in one tank” and come with a GPS system that “only goes
to Poland; not affirmative action: “if one presenter on a show is a
blond-haired, blue-eyed heterosexual boy, the other must be a black Muslim
lesbian”; not Stephen Hawking: a “great man, but most of him doesn’t work;
etc., etc. Of the striking public sector unions he said, “I would take them
outside and execute them in front of their families.
You get the
idea. The observation that caught my eye and rang my blog bell was this:
“Most Americans barely
have the brains to walk on their back legs.”
I immediately
envisioned the crowds that managed to vote Barack Obama into office twice—and
saw them already queuing up emotionally to do the same for Queen Hillary.
This is not a
happy vision. God has recently reminded me that
Behold, the nations are
as a drop in a bucket, And are counted as the
small dust on the scales; Look,
He lifts up the isles as a very
little thing. Isaiah 40.15
And in light
of this I am somewhat comforted when I watch the evening news.
Keep looking
up!

THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED...

THE ROAD TO HELL IS
PAVED…
4.8.15
1952:
President Truman Established one day a year as a "National Day of
Prayer."
1988:
President Reagan Designated the first Thursday in May of each year as The
National Day of Prayer.
June 2007: Presidential
Candidate Barack Obama declared
that the USA was “no longer a
Christian nation.”
2009:
President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the
White House under the ruse of "not
wanting to offend
anyone"
September 25, 2009: From 4 AM until 7 PM, A National Day
of Prayer for the Muslim religion
was held on Capitol Hill, inside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims
in D.C. that day. PRESIDENT OBAMA PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS?
In the oval office it doesn't
matter if "Christians" were offended by this event – Christians
don’t count as " anyone " anymore.
These days: President
Obama is encouraging schools to teach the Quran for extra credit, while at the
same time, they cannot even talk about the Bible, or God, or pray, or salute
the American Flag.
April 7, 2015 Annual Prayer Breakfast: President Obama took another gratuitous shot at
Christians. He talks faster than I can write but this is close—“This Easter I
reflect as Christians we are supposed to love. When I hear less than loving
expressions by Christians, I become concerned…but that’s for another day.”
It is too bad he didn’t take
questions: mine would have been something like this: “Mr. President, don’t you
think the wholesale slaughter of Christians in the middle east by the
unemployed, misunderstood, homicidal sons of allah might possibly give some
balance to your concern and move you to actually mention it from time to time
from the lofty heights of the bully pulpit from which you never miss an opportunity
to stick it to Christians ?”
The direction this country is
headed should be at the top of the prayer list of every Christian ,
especially knowing that militant Islam believes if Christians cannot be
converted, they must be enslaved or executed.
